Four ways to price a brand
Pick the signal that drives your price
You don't need another seller on your listing to price dynamically. Choose a strategy per SKU, or per group of SKUs, and change it whenever you learn what works.

Best forBrands selling on both marketplaces
One marketplace sets the price on the other.
Explore price sync →1 · CH.AI Private Label
Let AI find the most profitable price
CH.AI optimizes for profit dollars, not the lowest price. 70 units at $9 of profit beats 100 units at $5. It reads your sales, demand, competing listings, and inventory, then runs small price experiments inside your min and max.
- Optimize for Units Sold leans harder on velocity when you’re sitting on inventory or sales are slow
- Maintain Inventory Levels protects a shrinking stock position instead of selling your last units cheap
- Min and max guardrails keep every experiment inside the price range you set for each SKU
2 · Competition-based
Let competitor prices drive yours
You own your listing, not your category. Pick the competing ASINs or Walmart Item IDs you’re up against. Flashpricer suggests similar listings, you confirm each one, then choose where to sit and track it in market insights.
- Off-listing competitors count, not just the other sellers on your own ASIN or Item ID
- Match, undercut, or hold a premium over cheaper rivals by a set amount you choose
- Do Not Reprice holds your price when a competitor goes out of stock or loses a usable price
3 · Sales velocity-based
Let your own sales speed set the price
No competitor required. Flashpricer measures your average daily units over a window you set, counting in-stock days only, then prices against your previous period or a daily unit target you define.
- Sales climb 5%: test $0.50 higher, because strong sales often mean you’re priced too low
- Sales drop 5%: lower the price $0.50 to win back velocity without starting a price war
- You set the step, trigger, and cooldown, so low-volume SKUs don’t react to every bit of noise
4 · Amazon ↔ Walmart price sync
Keep one price across Amazon and Walmart
Selling the same product on Amazon and Walmart? Let one marketplace set the price on the other. Flashpricer reads the source listing, applies your rules, and pushes the result to the matching listing.
- Either direction: Amazon to Walmart or Walmart to Amazon, at the same price or a fixed spread
- Follow the Buy Box or a first-party offer, adjusted by a dollar amount or a percentage
- Nothing pushed blind: fall back to your reference price, or don’t reprice when no rule applies

Compare the four approaches
Most brands use more than one. Start each SKU with the approach that matches what you know about it, and switch whenever the data says so.
| Compare | CH.AI Private Label | Competition-based | Sales velocity-based | Price sync |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price is driven by | Your sales, demand, and market data | Competing ASINs or Item IDs | Your own daily unit sales | Prices on the other marketplace |
| Who decides each move | AI, inside your min and max | Your rule: match, below, or above | Your rule: $ or % per change in sales | Your rules, with fallbacks |
| Best when | You want to test new price points | You have obvious rivals | Inventory speed matters most | You sell on both marketplaces |
| Min and max guardrails | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Strategies are assigned per SKU or in bulk, so different products in the same catalog can use different approaches.

FAQ
Your brand repricing questions

Do I need another seller on my listing to reprice my brand?
No. Competition-based pricing tracks the competing ASINs or Walmart Item IDs you choose, even though they're off your listing. Sales velocity pricing follows your own daily units, and CH.AI works from your sales, demand and inventory. None of them needs another seller on your listing.
Can different SKUs use different approaches?
Yes. Strategies are assigned per SKU, or in bulk with a CSV upload, so one catalog can run CH.AI on new launches, competition-based pricing on contested products and velocity rules everywhere else. Switch any SKU whenever the data says so.
Does CH.AI work on Walmart as well as Amazon?
Yes. When you create a strategy for Amazon or Walmart, choose Private Label / Brand Owner as the type of selling. CH.AI strategies are included from the Turbo plan up, and each plan sets how many listings can run CH.AI at once. Compare plans and pricing.
Will Flashpricer ever price outside my min and max?
No. Whichever approach you choose, every price Flashpricer pushes stays inside your min and max. Set them by hand, or let Flashpricer calculate them from your real costs, marketplace fees and a target ROI, margin or fixed profit. Learn more about profit protection.
How does sales velocity pricing handle stockouts?
Velocity counts in-stock days only: units sold divided by the days you had stock. A stockout never makes demand look weaker than it was, and minimum unit thresholds plus a cooldown between moves keep low-volume SKUs from reacting to noise.
