This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Flashpricer LLC ("Flashpricer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.flashpricer.com (the "Site") or use app.flashpricer.com and our related software, browser extensions, APIs, Model Context Protocol ("MCP") servers, and integrations (together with the Site, the "Services"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Use.
The Services are designed for businesses that sell on online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart ("Marketplaces"). This Policy covers information about our customers, their authorized users, and visitors to our Site.
1. Information You Provide
When you register for or use the Services, we collect information such as your name, company name, business address, email address, phone number, seller or store names, and account login details. If you upgrade to a paid plan, our third-party payment processor collects your payment card information. We do not store full payment card numbers; the processor may use them only to process payments on our behalf.
We also collect information you choose to give us, such as support requests, survey responses, feedback, testimonials, and messages you send us.
2. Marketplace Account Data
When you connect a Marketplace seller account, we access data through that Marketplace's authorized APIs to provide the Services, such as listings, product details, prices, competitor offers, inventory, order quantities and values, fees, and your strategy settings ("Marketplace Data").
We do not request or store personal information of Marketplace buyers, such as buyer names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. We handle Marketplace Data in accordance with each Marketplace's data protection and API policies, including the Amazon Selling Partner API policies and Walmart Marketplace API terms.
3. Browser Extension
If you install a Flashpricer browser extension, it may collect data from supported Marketplace pages you visit while signed in (such as product, offer, and pricing information), along with device information, extension version, and diagnostic and error reports. We use this data only to provide, troubleshoot, and improve the Services. The extension does not collect your browsing history on other websites.
4. AI Features, MCP, and Connected Agents
Some features use artificial intelligence. When you use them, the relevant Marketplace Data and your instructions may be processed by AI service providers acting on our behalf, under agreements that restrict their use of the data to providing the service to us.
If you connect the Services to a third-party AI assistant or agent (for example, through our MCP server or API), data you request will be sent to that assistant. That provider's handling of the data is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
5. Information We Collect Automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you use the Site and Services, such as IP address, browser type, device and operating system, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, date and time stamps, and clickstream and feature-usage data. We use this information to operate and secure the Services, analyze trends, and improve features. We may connect it to your account where needed to support you or improve the Services for you.
6. Cookies, Clear GIFs, and Similar Technologies
Cookies. We use session cookies to keep you signed in and process your activity, and persistent cookies to recognize you as a customer and make signing in easier. Session cookies are required to use the Services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but you will then be unable to sign in to the Services.
Analytics and email tracking. We and our service providers use analytics tools and clear GIFs (also called web beacons or pixels) on our Site and in our HTML emails to understand which content and emails are effective, including whether an email was opened. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
Identity resolution partners. When you visit or log in to our Site, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including your email or postal address. We or our service providers may then send you communications and marketing at those addresses. You may opt out of this at https://app.retention.com/optout (opens in a new tab).
7. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services, including repricing, Marketplace incentive features, analytics, and reports;
- create and manage your account, authenticate users, and process billing;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- send you service, billing, security, and policy notices, including notices about changes to our Terms of Use or this Policy;
- send you product updates, offers, and marketing communications, subject to your right to opt out;
- monitor usage, troubleshoot problems, and improve and develop the Services;
- create aggregated or de-identified data, such as pricing trends and benchmarks, that does not identify you or any individual;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, data storage, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, analytics, and AI service providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us and must keep it confidential.
- Marketplaces and integrations you connect. We send data and instructions to Marketplaces and other services you connect, such as price updates, as needed to provide the Services.
- People you authorize, such as your team members with access to your account, or third-party tools and AI agents you connect.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or to investigate or prevent illegal activity, fraud, threats to safety, or violations of our Terms of Use.
- Business transfers. If Flashpricer is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
9. Customer Testimonials
We may post customer testimonials, reviews, or case studies on our Site that include your name or business name. We obtain your consent before doing so. To request removal, contact privacy@flashpricer.com.
10. Data Security
We use technical, physical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, API keys, and access tokens confidential.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information and Marketplace Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. When you disconnect a Marketplace account, or close your Flashpricer account, we delete or de-identify the data obtained from that connection within the period required by the applicable Marketplace policies. We may keep certain information longer where needed to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be kept indefinitely.
12. International Users and Data Transfers
Flashpricer is based in the United States, and we serve customers who sell on Marketplaces in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. Information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Legal bases (EU and UK users). If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your personal information on these bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Services); for our legitimate interests (securing, supporting, and improving the Services, and marketing to business customers); to comply with legal obligations; and with your consent where required (for example, certain cookies and marketing).
13. Your Rights and Choices
Account information. You can review and update your account information in your account settings or by contacting us.
Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting privacy@flashpricer.com. We will still send you service, billing, and security notices.
Privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of targeted advertising. This includes rights under the EU and UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA, Mexico's federal personal data protection law, and U.S. state privacy laws where they apply. To make a request, email privacy@flashpricer.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
14. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it.
15. Links to Other Sites
Our Site and Services contain links to and integrations with websites and services we do not own or control, including Marketplaces. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the Site or in the Services before the changes take effect. The "Last Revised" date at the top shows when this Policy was last updated. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
